If interested – apply NOW – applications close shortly (January 22nd)
Teams from every corner of the globe will battle for glory at the 3rd edition of the World Gaelic Games (WGGs) which takes place between July 29th and August 2nd. Following the success of previous WGGs in Abu Dhabi (2013) and Dublin (2016), this year’s event will be located at the Waterford Institute of Technology campus. There will be eight titles up for grabs with ‘Irish born’ and ‘non-Irish born’ categories in the camogie, hurling, men’s and ladies football competitions.
30+ European teams are expected to travel, as along with various national and regional selections, Gaelic Games Europe (GGE) is also planning to enter teams, selected from across our 90+ clubs, in the eight competitions. Applications are now open for those interested in playing for any of the ‘EUROPE’ teams.
All you need to do is provide your club and contact details by filling in a short application form. Players must be registered with a European club prior to January 1st, 2019.
