Club Information

Back in 1998, a group of locals interested in Irish culture organised a game in the Brest area. The game was a great success and 2 years later, in 2000, the Gaelic Football Bro Leon was established. It became the 1st ever GAA club created by non-irish only.
For the past 25 years the clubs has been playing gaelic football and takes a strong part in the development of GAA in Brittany and France.
The clubs currently has a men’s and a ladies’ teams and is growing numbers every year.
We train twice a week on Monday in Brest (stade du Petit-Kerzu) and on Wednesday on Daoulas (stade de Coat-Mez). Trainings are open to anyone, new or experience players!
