GAA goes Global – with Croke Park as the hub

This Sunday’s Game sits down with RTE Sport’s Damien O’Meara as he tells not only of how he’s been able to explore his more cultured side thanks to less sports news, he also recounts the magic of covering All-Ireland Finals and how the spread of Gaelic Games really hits home.  And just what happens when you try to grab an interview with All-Ireland winning managers and players.

GAA President John Horan opens up on how a change in wording means so much for Global GAA and his interest in overseas Gaelic Games stretching back to the early 1980’s.  He explains that a duty of care is vital for the future and health of the GAA and how caution needs to be observed at this time.  And he begins to explain why Croke Park is a Global hub for Gaelic Games with last year’s Renault GAA World Games a prime example.

And we’ve a surprise at the end of the show which is well worth waiting for!
