Leuven is a student city, located about 20 minutes from Brussels by train.
The city is renowned for its prestigious university, the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven (KU Leuven), established in 1425, making it one of Europe’s oldest universities.
The Earls are an affiliated University sports team and are included in the range of sports promoted in the Academic sports calendar.
The city has a thriving beer culture and is home to InBev, one of the world’s leading breweries. Visitors can explore local microbreweries and enjoy a wide variety of Belgian beers at numerous pubs and bars.
Although primarily populated by students, the Earls welcome all types of members.
