Amsterdam Gaelic Athletic Club was founded on St. Patrick’s Day 2003 and over the past decade, the club has grown into one of Europe’s leading GAA clubs.
Amsterdam GAC consists of Gaelic Football, Hurling and Camogie teams. Both Mens and Ladies teams compete in European tournaments across the Benelux and the greater European region.
All of our teams have enjoyed great success in recent times. The Men’s Footballers and Hurlers have achieved victories in the Premier European 15-a-side tournaments. As a result, Amsterdam have represented Europe in the Leinster Junior Championships for many years.
We train every week in Amsterdam and are always looking for new players to join. We are an international club and new players of any nationality and ability are welcome to join. Even if you’ve never played before, full beginner’s training is provided so you can get fit playing a fun and exciting sport!
The club organises regular social nights in Amsterdam and is a great place for newcomers to The Netherlands to make friends.
