- Read and understand to a reasonable extent, the Competition’s Regulations, the GAA Official Guide (Chapter 6 in particular), The GAA Disciplinary Handbook and our Byelaws.
- Act as a CCO if required.
- Be prepared to respond at short notice, within reason, to meetings to deal with Competition’s related issues where a potential breach of our regulation’s needs to be investigated.
- Games Development should be the principle responsibility of each code officer. This involves continuously working towards making our games, in their specific code, the best they can be in terms of organisation, fairness, competitiveness, enjoyment, development etc. Liaising with all regions is essential to understand the different issues facing those regions and not just that officer’s own region.
